Yes, PB & J’s are a simple meal, but they still remain a favourite, reminding everyone of the days when they were young and things were simpler. What’s more, there are numerous benefits of this light dish; it is loaded with protein, plant-based fats and fiber. All this serves to keep you full and build muscle mass. PB & J’s are an oldie, but a goodie. 

“Homecooked” Take Out

Southern Fried Chicken Sandwich 

The classic Southern friend chicken sandwich is a protein rich-meal that is loved by all. But sometimes, it can make for messy cooking, with hot oil and fat flying all over the place. What we did was use an alternative, like an air fryer. The benefits of using an air fryer are numerous. They are naturally safer because they don’t require oil, and it is because of this that they also promote weight loss, reduce the formation of toxic compounds and cut down on disease risk. 

Pesto Party

Staying at home has led us to using our time in different ways, and some of us spent it beginning our own little herb garden. Pesto is a miracle worker: put it on any dish and watch as what was once overlooked is given a new lease on life with tremendous flavour. More than that though, pesto is a Superfood filled with disease-preventing antioxidants such as Vitamin A and C, while also filled with fats that are heart-friendly.
