Parque Toreo Mexico City.

In Naucalpan, State of Mexico, Parque Toreo is a mixed-use complex that is a stunning example of progress, ingenuity and urbanization. The idea was to create a great park and that is what this project is, uniting a shopping mall, a hotel and three corporate buildings. The shopping centre features fountains, trees, vast open spaces, rich vegetation, restaurants and cinemas.

Victoria Gate Leeds, England.

At the heart of Leeds, Victoria Gate is the city’s glamourous city centre and premier shopping destination. Here, there are over 80 of the most desirable shops that cater to all sorts of needs, from fashion and lifestyle, to house and home. It is also a food lover’s haven with an array of dining options from dusk till dawn. What’s more, there is a 24 hour Casino ready to house all those who fancy their luck.

Palm Court Miami.

Palm Court is an event space and pedestrian plaza that symbolizes the architectural quality and stylistic innovation of its neighbourhood: the Design District. Just three miles from Downtown Miami, Palm Court is a tree-lined oasis where live concerts are held, family trips are organized and art tours are set up. In effect, Palm Court is more than a shopping mall: it is a cultural and social experience. 

Hanjie Wanda Square Wuhan, China.

Luxury brands, renowned restaurants and state-of-the-art cinemas are all housed in the luxury shopping plaza that is Hanjie Wanda Square. The idea behind it was to create an architectural manifestation that expressed the synergy of flows. Two different atmospheres are inside, the North and South Atria, that are completely integrated; variations in geometry and materials define the interiors.

Pacific Place Hong Kong, China.

Pacific Place is a massive 650,000 square metre luxury shopping and entertainment centre in the middle of Hong Kong. Around the shopping mall are office space, five-star hotels gourmet restaurants and apartments. The interior design was reimaged to create a space that reflected the fact that Pacific Place is one of the city’s premier destination: 3-D patterned skylights, curved glass elevators and a textured Bedonia stone façade are just a few of the remarkable features.

Emporia Shopping Centre Malmö, Sweden.

On the south side of Malmö, with bold colours and a bent façade, Emporia Shopping Centre was envisioned to be an urban planning project first, and space for offices, housing and retail second. The shopping centre is organized around a three-storey figure eight; the atrium and parking garage are brightly coloured and each has a different theme. There is a rooftop park that can be accessed from both inside and outside the building, with future plans in place to build an outdoor restaurant and spa.
