To mark their 20th year of partnering together, Chopard is set to release a 70th-anniversary collection for the Cannes Film Festival. Chopard is pulling out all the stops with 70 spectacular designs that will be worn by celebrities gracing the red carpet. Recognized as a lucky charm for actors and actresses at ceremonies such as the Academy Awards, Chopard is no stranger to the glamour of Hollywood. The infamous jewels having been worn by the likes of Cate Blanchett, Matthew McConaughey, Jennifer Lawrence, Helen Mirren, Charlize Theron, Colin Firth, and Kate Winslet.

This year’s collection includes bracelets, earrings, rings, and necklaces in all cuts and colours.  Some will be more prominent than others such as Chopard’s broad cuff bracelet made of titanium with luxuriously brocaded arabesque motifs.  The cuff contains a modest 56.56 carats of gems, including amethyst, tsavorite, tanzanite, blue and pink sapphires, Paraiba tourmalines, apatite, and diamonds.

Not to be outshone will be a pair of chandelier earrings in 18k white gold and pearl shaped ruby earrings containing over 40 carats along with 2.9 carats of diamonds.

Regardless of what your taste in jewellery may be, Chopard has set out to gratify all preferences for Cannes’ big anniversary.
